Pengerkatu

This building at Pengerkatu used to be a police station with cells and all. Nowadays it's a place to study art. There are ceramics classes and graphics classes and to dot the i's - photography dark rooms in old jail cells.

Luotsikatu

I used to live in this building in the 1990's. Now this building hosts a teddy bear hospital. Really. No kidding. Well, also Tove Jansson from Moomin troll fame lived on this street in her childhood, so I guess a teddy bear hospital fits here just right.

Katajanokka

In Helsinki you can easily find yourself in the middle of a snowy winter day in a latter half of March. Katajanokka is almost complete Jugend / Art Nouveau style part of Helsinki. There are lots of beautiful buildings from late 1800's and early 1900's.

Kyllä ennenvanhaan koulurakennuksetkin tehtiin kiinnostavamman näköisiksi. Kronohagens lågstadieskola.
